Grange Academy is a special school with a range of learning needs. Our learners are aged 5-16 and have a range of layered needs including moderate learning difficulties, SEMH and autism.
Our provision focuses on personalised learning to meet the holistic needs of the class group. As a school we are committed to providing a vibrant and fulfilling offer to our pupils.
What is a Local Offer?
The Local Offer provides information about what is available across education, health, and social care for children and young people in Bedford.
These services are specifically for children and young people who have Special Educational Needs and/or disability. The provisions identified in the Local Offer will be in Bedford.
What is the purpose of the Local Offer?
The Local Offer aims to provide clear, comprehensive, accessible and up-to-date information about the available provision and how to access it.
In the long term, it will make provision more responsive to local needs and aspirations by directly children and young people with SEN and/or disability in reviewing the local offer and identifying what else is needed.
Local Offer and Grange Academy
The provision at Grange Academy is a part of the local offer. Grange Academy is a good school with outstanding leadership. Our provision is very clear in its commitment to meeting the full needs of our pupils.
Grange Academy works closely with Bedford Borough to ensure our children, young people, and families understand what the local offer provides and how to access additional useful services.
