School Parliament News

On Monday primary and secondary students voted for their class representatives. The voting was sometimes very close, but thankfully there were no ties and each class had their outright winner announced to them via a certificate on Tuesday.

Ethan (Elm): I feel excited because I have always wanted to be on the school council.

Quintin (Maple): I felt happy when I got my certificate because it meant my class had voted for me most.

Kyle (Willow): I feel good about being chosen. I like to help around the school and fix things maybe I could be the school council handyman!

Oliver (Dove): It feels great, I’m looking forward to being a good council representative.

K’leeer (S1A):   I am looking forward to it. I think I’ll be a good representative for my class. I will listen to my class mates and help if they have a problem.

Chloe (S2): I feel really happy that I was chosen by my class to be their representative this year.

Jessica (S3): I couldn’t wait to find out if my class had voted for me or not. I want to be really involved in decisions that are made.

Patryk (S4): I feel happy to be school council, nice.

Josiah (S5): I feel excited, I was the representative last year too. I want to be involved in extra jobs in the council if I can.
